One of the most surprising transfers of the winter transfer market has been confirmed: Alvaro Morata is now a Galatasaray player.
The Turkish club has confirmed the agreement with Milan for the Spanish player to wear the jersey of the Bosphorus team. "Official negotiations have begun with the player and his club AC Milan SPA for the temporary transfer of professional footballer Alvaro Borja Morata Martin, respectfully communicated to the public", reads the statement released on their official media.
Morata will arrive in Istanbul on Sunday morning to sign his contract with the club. The Spanish international leaves Milan just six months after his arrival.
